2012 Events

Hope every one had a Merry Christmas, Hanukkah, Present Day etc. Now that SE has finished giving us new levels its time to look at events again. I do plan on getting regular Nyzul Isle runs going again so we can all be on the 100th Floor, and wouldn't mind getting either regular Limbus or Dynamis runs in there as well, however this doesn't mean that's what you want to. So here is a list of events that are available in FFXI, below is a list of events that we could all take part in, I would like you to pick your top 3 so we can determine which to do in the new Year.

Sky Gods (ZM 14)
Dream World (Requires CoP 3-5, Lvl 65, Vial of Shrouded Sand KI)
Limbus (CoP 8-1, Lvl 65)
Absolute Virtue (CoP 8-3)
Nyzul Isle (Lvl 75)
Einherjar (Lvl 60)
Assault Missions (Lvl 50)
Salvage (Remnants Permit KI)
Moblin Maze Mongers
Empyreon Weapon
Void Watch

For myself the three I am hoping for is:
1.Nyzul Isle
2.Empyreon Weapon
3.Void Watch

Here are my 3:

1 Einherjar (great atma that resists death when all chambers are done)

2. Dynamis all area: We can farm/wins and get upgrades for our relic gear

3. Empyreon Weapon: These are uber stat weapons that everyone wants but few people are willing to help. So with a dedicated group we can start getting them


Those are my 3, but im willing to help on anything else

I've never really done any of those and they all interest me a lot. Also I know it's not on the list, but I would really be interested in Atma runs for things like RR and VV. I'm sure others need a lot of different atmas too.

If we do VW we need 18ppl with every part of their job max skilled with every job ability(even merited ones), every spell(even the new real expensive ones), and every weapon that job uses to be skilled and ready to use. I know some jobs can use weapons others can use, but to make it work it's best every job has their uses ready to use or it wont work. Procing the nms change every time you land a proc and it needs done again. Also everyone will need to spend around 600k cruor to get the KI's from the voidwatch npc. Everyone must be 95+ on their job also, this isn't a walk through the park. Some nms are easy while others will wipe 18ppl in 10seconds, need people ready to commit a few hours each run and have the voidstones stocked to do it. NO AFKing is allowed if we do this cause you could be the one who has to proc.

Everyone interested in doing this needs to go ASAP to a voidwatch officer in their home nation to start collecting stone, you get 1 every 20hours and that can be reduced by 4 hours only to 16hours by a KI from an nm.

If we do Emp Weapons, it's best to get all the items from an NM for 1 person at a time. Splitting drops for emps will only take 2-3 times longer to collect the 50-75 items needed. Most nms can be soloed-trio now, but if we go with more people and farm pops then get NM Ki's and spam the nms for a few hours a few times a week we can get everyone done relatively fast(best to do it a few hours each day, to complete 50-75items in less than a week). For picking who goes 1st should be a few things; 1 - have the weapon nms and vnms done, 2 - who has started collecting items, 3 - priority goes to people who posted on here not someone that decides they want to join to collect items before us who have voiced what we wanted in advance, and 4 - if the person who is up to get the items doesn't show they get bumped and goes to the next person. This is really the fairest and quickest way to get these done. Also there will be lots of +2 items dropping from every kill, that should be FL for everyone with the +1 armor except the person who is getting the emp item at that time.

I agree this sounds like it is the fairest way to do an empy run

wtf is Walk of Echoes? What do u get? I am having hard time looking this stuff up.
I work late so prolly can't do events anyway. But my 3 are

Emp Weapon: If that includes trial 74 Shaggoth for H2H cuz would like to get Verethragna weapon
Would like to do late night Assaults With BB he would like that

Walk of Echoes is where you get all the spells that cost 600k+ for blm. Shaggoth is just a vnm part of the H2H trial. Lots of time is involved killing 5 or 6 nms to get Ki's to pop 1 Chloris NM in abyssea for the 1-2 buds it drops is a pain. I've had H2H weapon stuck on the bud trial for a long time(over a year now) cause no one wants to deal with the hassle of helping get the buds...I need 46 more to finish that stage.

I chose Salvage cuz I've never done it before and can work on getting those awesome mythic weapons. I chose Einherjar cuz i need a few things from it (animator +1 etc). I chose ZNM's because I'm working on these anyways, so if anyone wants to join me ever they can. Would b fun to take down Pandimonium Warden for that wicked Atma, and kirin as well. There are a few of these Atma's out there, would b nice to work on getting them. If i had a 4th I would say dyna wins and dreamworlds.
