* Go to any Martello located in the zone.
* Examine the Martello and select the option to upgrade. You will be asked to upgrade the Martello from a specific side.
* Examine the Martello from the South side and select to complete the upgrade. After finishing the upgrade process you will be given a Cracked Fuel Reservoir key item.
* Return to the Machine Outfitter to complete the quest.
o If for any reason you exit Abyssea - Misareaux, you will lose the Fuel reservoir or the Cracked Fuel Reservoir depending on which you have aquired.
o This quest or Refuel and Replenish (Misareaux) can only be done once per Vana'diel day.

+ 2. Colibri (H-8/9 - SW of Spiders)
+ 3. Peiste (J-11) (Closest Conflux #07)
+ 4. Bugard (K-11) (Closest Conflux #08)
o Care must be given at Spider camp not to aggro the NM spider Athamas T(H). Colibri camp is completely safe. Peiste aggro sight but be wary; a Peiste NM named Gukumatz can spawn within the Peiste here and aggros T(S). Bugards aggro to sound.
o Once the pattern is discovered, a fast run can be done in 2-3 minutes, average 4-5 minutes, and long runs are 6-7 minutes.

* Talk to Hungry Wolf at (G-7), Conflux #3
* Obtain a Galkan Sausage
* Cook a Giant Sheep Meat to get the sausage.
* You can either cook the meat using the same method as in Smoke on the Mountain or by using the campfire in Abyssea - Misareaux near Conflux #6.
* If you use the campfire in Abyssea - Misareaux, you will be given a prompt upon trading the meat to either pull it out of the fire or continue cooking, up to three times.
* If you successfully continue to cook, your Galkan Sausage will HQ, up to +3. If you fail on the first two prompts, you will receive a Galkan Sausage -1.
* Failure at the +3 step will completely char the meat, giving you nothing.
* A large number of clusters and the NM Abyssic Cluster are hanging around the campfire in Abyssea - Misareaux. Use extreme caution when attempting this method.
* Clusters will not aggro while you are in the process of cooking the meat, and trading the meat will cause them to de-aggro.
However, the abyssea dynamo nm cluster will agro while cooking the sausages. Be warned as i found out the hard way
* Trade the sausage to Hungry Wolf for your reward(s).
* The seal you get appears to be random. Current job has no effect on what seal you will receive.
* The type of sausage you trade - be it NQ, +1, +2, or +3 - will have no effect on the percentage rate of seal drop or type of seal. It only affect what Hungry Wolf (A) will say, and the amount of cruor and fame he will award.
* Trading a Galkan Sausage -1 will not reward you anything.
* This quest can be repeated upon zoning.
o repating the quest using a Galkan Sausage +3 4 times will get you to fame 2, 7 times for fame 3, 11 times for fame 4, 14 times for fame 5, and 17 times for fame 6 (capped).

* Return to Sieglinde (A).
o If the light was blue, you are done with the quest will she will give you your reward.
o If the light was yellow or red, she will give you another key item, Tube of alchemical fertilizer.
* If you received the Tube of alchemical fertilizer, go back to the same Logging Point as before and click it.
* Additionally, if you are repeating the quest, the logging point you fertilized will give blue light if it was previously yellow. Unknown if fertilizing red will cause blue also. Be aware that the fertility might drop back to yellow again.
* Return to Sieglinde (A) once more for your reward.
The Mineral gauge for dummies key item stays in your temporary key items until you zone, even after completing the quest. Additionally, zoning will not reset your light and you can get your reward or the fertilizer. However, you must still zone to restart the quest.
* In my personal experience whichever of the logging points you find is the one you will always use when repeating this quest. (Meaning the same Conflux area, not necessarily the same tree).
